第39回日本分子生物学会年会（横浜）シンポジウムに採択され、下記の日程とトピックでシンポジウムを開催しました。
当日は、シンポジウムには海外からの参加も含め下記の先生方にご講演いただくとともに、一般演題からも演題採択を行いました。素敵な発表をありがとうございました。
たくさんの方々にもお越しいただき、途中では会場立ち見が出るほどと、企画したこちらとしては嬉しい限りのセッションでした。
今学会ではミトコンドリアのセッションが多数ありました。今後も国内外のミトコンドリア研究を盛り上げていきましょう！

ミトコンドリアとオルガネラのコミュニケーション

ミトコンドリアは真核生物に必須なエネルギ産生を担うオルガネラとして知られているが、近年の研究展開から、細胞質に存在する他のオルガネラと密接に情報をやり取りしながら、時にはその膜構造のダイナミクスさえも変化させ、様々な細胞環境に応答していることが明らかとなってきた。このシンポジウムでは、ミトコンドリアの内外の情報がいかに他のオルガネラとの間でやり取りされているかについて、ミトコンドリアストレス応答・オルガネラ生合成・アポトーシス調節などの面から国内外の新進気鋭の研究者に紹介いただく。
